During his 2008 State Senate campaign, Leno's team hosted a series of online "Policy Talks" bringing together residents of Marin, San Francisco, and Sonoma counties to exchange ideas on regional issues.
These talks addressed transportation, the environment, housing, education, and health care. They served to identify issues, frame them in a regional context, help develop solutions, and advise the campaign on policy directions.
